How to Repair corrupted pen drive or SD card

Many of us have to face many times that our USB drives corrupted or there is no data in your drive but it shows as space is full.

There are several ways to repair USB drives but two of the best  and mostly used methods are mentioned  here.

1: By changing drive letter

The first, basic & easiest way is to format your drives from disk management. If it doesn't work then try by changing the drive letter. 

Open run command and type diskmgmt.msc. It will take few seconds to open.

Then click on your drive, from here you can format or change drive letter.

Note: Fat32 is only applicable on under 32gb of the storage size. After that, you will get as exFAT formatting extension.

2: Repairing using command prompt

 If above method doesn't work then try by formatting through command prompt.
follow the steps to do this

• open command prompt & hit enter after typing diskaprt.
• Now click list disk.Here you will see all connected drives.
• Type select disk(number of your disk). Here be careful!!while selecting the disk, wrong selection of disk will format another disk.
• Type clean and hit enter.
• Type create partition primary and hit Enter.
• Type active.
• Type select partition 1.
• Type format fs=fat32 and press Enter.

Note: Fat32 is only applicable on under 32gb of the storage size.After that, you will get as exFAT formatting extension.
